About me
My name is Helga Kessinger.
My education and professional experience.
I studied translation at the University of Heidelberg (French and English) and have a diploma in translation.
Degree in translation.
Afterwards I worked for several years as a securities trader at major international banks.
For about 15 years now, I teach German as a foreign language. My students, more than 150 by now, come from all over the world, e.g. China, Eastern Europe, India, Iran, Japan, Pakistan, South-America, South-Korea, Syria, the US etc.
They work for international companies (BASF, Beiersdorf, Infinion) and for small and medium sized enterprises such as Knorr Bremse, Kulzer, Messer, Lilium, research institutes (Leibniz, Fraunhofer), play in orchestras (Konzerthaus Berlin, Deutsche Oper Berlin) or they are still studying.

I took a month-long online German Telc B2 Test Preparation course taught by Helga, with 3 other students from diverse backgrounds. It was just likebeing in a live classroom.
She brought us through the different sections of the test with realistic simulations, focused on the areas where each student was weakest, and provided helpful tips without which I could not have passed the test.
In addition, we had lots of opportunity to speak, which you need both for the test and for real life.

Helga Kessinger. Las clases fueron impartidas via Online debido a la situación actual con la pandemia, sin embargo fueron de alta calidad, con una buena organización, excelente atención a cada alumno con buena resolución de dudas, y una dinámica fluida con la que se mantenía siempre la atención y se aseguraba la retención de conceptos nuevos en cada clase.
